Motherhood, Hair Loss & The shortcut to Happiness

Motherhood is a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and countless responsibilities. Amidst the chaos of daily life, we, moms, often find it challenging to prioritize self-care. And if you prioritize yourself at all, it's usually one or the other, right? Either my hair OR makeup are getting done but not both!

We also get faced with the struggle of postpartum hair loss. And while, yes, it will eventually come back, it certainly doesn't help the way we feel about our appearance in those delicate weeks following birth.

So, we can sit there and be sad about it or we can take a shortcut to feeling better.

Two things...

Pregnancy and postpartum phases can bring about significant changes in hair texture and thickness. Many moms experience hair loss or changes in hair quality during this time.

When we look better, we feel better. Moms who invest time in themselves are more likely to feel rejuvenated and better equipped to handle the days challenges. And when you look in the mirror, and like what you see, your kicking your day off in a healthier mindset.

I'd like to let you in on a little secret....

Hair extensions actually simplify your self-care routine.

If your hair is fine or you have post-partum hair loss you know how hard it is to make a style hold. The great thing about having hair extensions is that the added volume of the extension hair, allows you to ride out a style for a few days and because your hair is thicker, you don't get oily as quickly. So you may only need to wash and style your hair one-two times a week. Plus length and volume make messy mom buns, braids and ponies easy and effortless. And we all know that a thick-full looking bun or pony looks way better than a little one.

When I am tackling all things, my hair doesn't need to be one of them.

Before NBR I spent a lot of time and energy trying to get my hair to look how I wanted, with little to no success. My hair thinned after kids and just wasn't the same. I hoped my skill as a hairdresser would be enough to make it work, but all I had was frustration and disappointment. I wore hats and scarfs to spruce up my style but I never felt the way I hoped.

But with Hair Extensions I was able to create looks and hairstyles without a lot of effort, and I came love my hair again. Hair extensions offer a non-invasive solution to regain confidence and feel good about you appearance during these postpartum transitional periods.

Finding simple and effective ways to feel better about oneself is essential. Hair extensions are a short cut to that! Offering a confidence boost and simplifying the beauty routine for busy moms. By embracing the transformative power of hair extensions, moms can reclaim a sense of style, confidence, and self-worth, ultimately making their day to day lives more enjoyable.

Call the salon and let's chat more in depth about how NBR can elevate your life.
