STEP 02

REMY hand-tied hair by NBR®

REMY Hand-Tied Hair was designed specifically for the NBR® method. It is 100% human hair with the cuticle intact, less silicone, and color that is pre-rooted and pre-toned for amazing blends. For you that means less tangle, less shed, and more longevity. It is double drawn, so you get thick, full hair from roots to ends.

STEP 03

Creating the natural color blend

If your color does not blend perfectly, it is a dead giveaway you have extensions. We custom color both the REMY hair and your natural hair. At your consultation we bring out hair to show you different colors and build the plan for your appointment day.

STEP 04

Installing your NBR® hair

The whole process takes three to four hours and the installation is pain free. There is no glue or tape involved, and removal takes about five minutes. Unlike most methods, NBR® does minimal damage, hides better, and won't slip out.

STEP 05

Styling your NBR® hair

NBR® looks as good in person as it does in photos and can be worn in multiple styles without showing. It holds curls well, does not get as oily as most natural hair, and suits a busy, active lifestyle. At your appointment we show you styles that look amazing and are quick to do.

STEP 06

Your NBR® photo shoot

At the end of your appointment you are invited to a fun NBR® photo shoot. This is your moment to shine, and a celebratory moment you will remember.

Taking care of your NBR® hair

We walk through washing routines, which products to use and which not to use, so you know exactly how to maintain the health, integrity, and quality of your hair and protect your investment.

What are NBR hair extensions?
Natural Beaded Rows® are an exclusive hair extension technique created and taught by Danielle K. White of DKW Styling. Extensions are placed in full rows using a bead and string technique, with wefts sewn into tracks that blend seamlessly into your natural hair, then customized in cut, color, and style.
Do NBR extensions damage your hair?
No. There is no tape and no glue, and there are minimal contact points with your natural hair, which promotes hair health rather than working against it. In most cases NBR helps improve the long-term health of your natural hair because it is lightweight and needs minimal care.
How long do they last, and how often do I come in?
With proper care, application, and upkeep, Natural Beaded Rows are intended to last four to six months. Adjustments and re-tightening are recommended every six to eight weeks.
How long does the appointment take?
Color, cut, and installation happen in one appointment, about three to four hours. The installation is pain free, and removal takes about five minutes because there is no glue or tape.
Can I wear my hair up?
Yes. The beads stay hidden whether your hair is worn straight, curled, or pulled into a ponytail. You can throw your hair in a ponytail and head to the gym without checking the mirror.
Is it real hair?
Yes. REMY Hand-Tied Hair is 100% human hair with the cuticle intact, pre-rooted and pre-toned for natural blends. It is double drawn, so the hair is the same length from roots to ends and blends with all hair lengths, even chin-length bobs.
